Ambrose I listened to your tune again this morning and it does indeed have a 60s vibe.

Nice try Sheena and Aitch. You both have a great sense of humour. If the idea put forward has any merit, I am confident with all the talent that we have on this forum, that the right person for the job will volunteer or be duly nominated.

a not so very technical side note ...

The 360/12 in this tune was run through Line6 Pod2 (not the xT model) with an AC/30 emulator, configured for BritA and compression, into a Behringer EU1208 panel to the line-in on the PC.

additional instruments:
Fender MusicMaster bass
Guild D25/6
Drums courtesy of Beta Monkey Country Live Drum sample: 4 sec loop @ 120 bpm
Multitracked & mixed using Audacity 1.30beta (GPL).

Wonderful song, Ambrose.... The sound is pure Rickenjangly heaven!

Personally, I love the idea of an original music forum, too....

Great guitar song Ambrose. Well done. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting that you attached effects into the PC.
I've been told to record "clean" and add the effects later. Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't necessarily believe this.
