Help Me to Help my AJ-1

Post by roadrunners »

Ok guys, Now....a few months ago I joined a tribute group as Paul and then set out onto finding a guitar to copy (sort of) Paul's Texan. So, After reviewing all of epiphones models I settled on this 99$ AJ-1....(It's not like I need the real thing, that'd be a waste considering I only Know one song lefty and only play that song once every weekend) so.....Anyone have any tips on how to mod this thing a little bit more to mccartney specs?

Alex: I bought a black Epiphone AJ-15B about 8 years ago. They've since renamed it the AJ-1. It was very inexpensive and I picked the best one out of 10-15 in the store. I liked the fact that it had a similar body shape to a J160E. It plays great and is the only acoustic that I play regularly. I have since bought a mint '96 Gibson J160E, but it stays in the case.

Well thats good news! I wont really play this much its literally for just one song. I sure wish that someone would manufacture Stick-on Parrelogram stickers so it looked like it had'em from a distance...
