Okay, as my friend Andy used to say, "Yeah, Shee, "danger" is your middle name... huuuge danger"... just like this:

Back to guitars, uh?
Chris, do you mean you decided not to look for another RIC at the moment?

Jeffrey, that Firesign Theatre album was/is fantastic! As they all were. Great stuff. (“I think … we’re ALL Bozos on this bus!”)

By the way, just in case someone thinks the names under the photos really spell Marx or Lennon/Lenin.
The letters under Groucho spell something like: “M'dyach.”
Under John, it doesn’t say anything pronounceable, as there is no ‘L’-looking-thing in Russian Cyrillic alphabet.
An ‘L’ sound in Russian is sort of an upside-down squared-off ‘U’ with a tail.
An ‘L’ turned upside down in Russian is actually a ‘G.’
But I’m rambling.

More rambling… speaking of the Marx Brothers and Russian. In his autobiography, Harpo Marx writes about his tour of the USSR and a funny story about when he came back and met his friends (including George S. Kaufman).

I see nothing wrong with the spelling, in fact... since the age of 3, i read Russian, and the letters always looked this way:

No, Sheena, not there, on the Firesign Theatre LP cover. (The other graphic.)
Yes, of course, what you attached spells those names.
In case anyone interested: Groucho was the youngest of the five brothers and real (English) name was Julius.

Mark: Oh, i see now... i thought you meant the picture Dane has posted... as far as FT cover, methinks it's just sort of a "mirror image"... (BTW, did he have a brother named Karl? Sorry, couldn't resist...)
Back to guitars, huh?
(UPD: was so impressed that typed "Marx" instead of "Mark"... corrected myself, though Image)

Just thought I'd mention...the image I posted is of an actual set of limited edition commemorative postage stamps issued by the Government of Abkhazia...I saw them advertised in the Sunday funnies about ten years ago and jumped on 'em...they've been a part of my home office decor ever since.
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

Abkhazia is a region of 8,600 km² (3,300 sq.mi.) in the Caucasus. It is formally an autonomous republic within Georgia but is de facto independent, although not recognised as such internationally. The capital is Sukhum (Sokhumi)

Interesting Dane. How many sets did you buy?

Just the one: issue number C 6754. Guess I should have gotten more, but I never think about things that way.

Judging from their postage stamps alone, Abkhazia seems like my kinda place...

Well they certainly have good taste when it comes to entertainers. IMO
