Dakota 650 Neck

Post by bullet_to_binary »

So, I just recieved my Dakota today, and the wood in the neck seems to have little things that look like "bubbles" all over it. I don't know if that's the right word. I guess it looks like the neck has acne or something. So i guess what i'm wondering is if this is normal or not. Like, is it just the piece of wood they used, or did something happen to it? Because i've seen a few others and they didn't look like this. I don't know if anyone knows what i'm talking about but if you do, any help/information would be appreciated.

Phil, do you mean like raised blisters or the figure in the wood?
