Rob, looks like the triplets are in the basement. Ever notice how much easier they go down vs. getting them up the stairs?

I think you need one more. You know, for the fourth string. Hmmmmmmmm....... I may be on to something here.
I'm just happy to be here.

The 1st amp i owned was a gorilla. Which means i guess the 1st amp i played thru too. Its not great. But it has this weird switch called Funk Bass. While Iv never honestly used it or would really. Its pretty kool. Like a huge treble boost or something. Image

So Gary...whats your idea for an 8 string or a 12 string? How many amps would one of those take?

Rob... that is a sick collection of SVT amps and cabs... are those all re-grilled?

Jeffrey, I am looking to go more in your direction in the future. I love my Traynor YBA200 tube head, and it's 85lb matching 2x10/1x15/tweeter cab, but the cab is overkill for much of my daily playing outside of live gigging.

I am thinking about a nice little 1x12, maybe from avatar... though there is an ampeg portabass 1x12 in a local store used.

My cabinet is a custom made 1-10 EV, shown with my 650 watts rms Walter Woods amp. The combination works great.

Rob me and you have the same collection, three heads, three cabs except one of my three is an 87 skunkworks head. And they're all for practicing of course,

J Gary - Lucky for me, there's a door to my shop to the left of the picture, and it's ground level with a garage door. No stairs for me!

John, yeah - they're all re-grilled except for the center cab ('72).

The cabs are '76, '72, and '81 (MTI cab), and the heads are '73, '74, '74. The center head currently isn't working - I got it as a project with a blown PT for about $350.

I gotta get some pics of my Ricks next!

Jeff,

650 watts and one 10" speaker?

What's the speaker rated at? What model is it?

Thanks,
Kevin
