SVT 3 Pro--any warnings?

Post by rickengeezer »

Hey gang, I'm heading out this evening to check out a used SVT 3 Pro that I'm looking to buy; don't know the seller. I've played through one a few times and I think it sounds just killer with my Rick, so I've been on the lookout for one for some time. Does anyone know of any particular quirks I should look for when testing it (I am bringing my own cabs and basses, active and passive)? This thing has been once repaired (supposedly) by Ampeg after the guy dropped the ohms too low, but he says it is 100% now.
