What a steal..

Post by voobacker »

what a day i have had, it all started with buying the local free ads paper, i went straight to the guitar section.

ad read:- 1960's rickenbacker guitar, body has a crack in it.

thats all it said, so i rung up and spoke to this really sweet lady.
so anyway.. i went round and saw this really mashed up newish guitar (not ricknbacker)but the great thing was, all the tuners,p/ups, tail piece, knobs etc.. were in fact off a 60's rick.
then the best thing was when she said she only wanted £100 for the guitar, as she said it was only in her way, well how could i refuse....

i wish my luck ran like that everyday..

So was it a copy of a Ric with all those neat appointments? Can you post some pics perhaps?

Thanks. Just curious.

Congrats, Vanya! So... i wonder, what are you going to do with it (if it's not a secret, of course) - will you "let it remain as it is" or?..
