A pleasure meeting you, Peter, and that collection with the new addition looks great. Might look better in a mirror, though. ;^)

Very nice collection, Peter. That V63 has a really cool grain pattern on the fretboard. It kinda looks like a candy-cane.

Do they make a 4005/8 in a lefty model?

Anyone?

No, to my knowledge they never made a 4005 in an 8-string configuration, very few lefty 4005s period.

Yes they did. They had the 'potato-head' headstock. Here's one of them - a '67 4005/8WB in Mapleglo.

Sorry, I meant to say LEFTY 4005/8, my bad. No left handed 4005/8 basses, very few 4005 leftys period.

Not a lefty one they didn't. It appears they made two 4005/4 (one maplego and one fireglo) and one 4005/6 in fireglo.
