Pickup Cover Height

I just acquired a blue boy 4003 from another forum member and it has a bridge pickup cover that is about 1/2" higher than the one on my maple glow 4003. What determines the height of this cover? These basses are about the same age.

Perhaps it is not mounted correctly, got pics?

Not mounted correctly is the answer. Now fixed. Should have looked at the RIC website diagrams first.
