76 Carcass for Sale S/N OG 3991

Post by charlyg »

I got into this project and am in over my head, so I'm gonna offer it up at a great price for someone else. I spent 400 bucks on the carcass and 100 for hardware. It still needs the wiring and the bridge p/u. I have a guitar toaster(w/o) threads to throw in. It also needs the trc. I do have the s/n plate. I will take pix tomorrow. I have got the old finish off. The decision on what to do with the body is next. The kid I got it from had sanded down the top front to look like the "modern" basses. Right through the binding! So, the top wing needs to be replaced, or the rest sanded down where the binding goes. Jammin Jersey has a carcass for 200 that you could get an original wing from, if that's what you decide. All I'm asking for the whole dealio is 250 bucks plus shipping! It also has a 1/2" spaced pickguard.

Here are some pix. I'll photo the hardware tomorrow. Wiring/knobs, bridge p/u, trc, still needed.
