4001C64s on the bay

Post by teeder »

If this is the same one I played at Rudy's, it's sweetheart!

It's got a very comfy neck!

This might be a very early one(not that any year C64S is more desireable than the next). It has the chrome Schaller tuners and a split tailpiece. My 2003 4001C64S does not.

Oh wait...it says 2005 in the auction. My bad. Odd thing on the tuners and tailpiece, though.

The discrepancies you see may have to do with the fact that, although the first 4 pics do seem to be of the item up for auction, the last pics would seem to be pulled from North Coast Music's C64S page, which IMO are prototype C64 pics.
My first bass was a Rickenbacker...
My best bass is a Rickenbacker...
My last bass may very well be a Rickenbacker

Good eye Alvaro. The bass has a white nut and the nickel kluson-style tuners in one photo, and a black nut and chrome schaller tuners in the other.

Goofy seller!
