The Real Deal?

Another faker on eBay [link]. I e-mailed the seller to inform him it isn't a real Ric.
It's listed under Musical Instruments > Guitars > Accessories > Pickups, and mis-spelled 'Rickenbaker'. Was he trying to fly under the radar?

Well there's our answer I guess. Good job fooling us, though. And good job to those who spotted the fake.
A agree that the pickguard and TRC don't look right, but a lot of it does.
On a related note...Does anybody have a Greco, univox or other faker TRC? I want to make one of my Ricks look like a faker!

Play what you love, love what you play!
Looks legit to me, you know?
No 'Model 4003' on the TRC? It could have been scraped off. No neck-through? Look closer. It is there. As for the headstock, I think I can see four wood laminates, which is consistent with a 4003. No? The bridge/tailpiece assembly is a bit crooked indeed, but maybe it came that way, or maybe someone shifted it slightly for some reason.
The only thing not consistent with an early 4003 is the upper body horn - it should be 'fatter', but maybe it's just the photo.

A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.
