That looks in mint condition and that grain is real flamey...

One of the best set necks I've seen.

It looks like the '75 that was on Ebay a while ago. I bid on it but it went way high (for a 4000). Yes, it won't be cheap.

I spoke to Andy, the owner, just yesterday.

A very nice & helpful guy! He said it is in excellent condition. Almost 100% original, only a few screws on one of the tuners has apparently been changed.

I tripped upon it accidentally and thought I'd give a call to see how much he wanted for it.

He's willing to take in trades, but he wanted $2700.00 for it. He was only willing to go down to $2500.00.

Too rich for my blood being I've never had my hands on one. I'm on the hunt for the thinnest neck Ric I can afford.

He did say the flame is the nicest he has ever seen on a Ric, that it even runs the length of the neck.

Beautiful. The coloring and shading is a lot like Jeff Rath's old 68.

This Azureglo 4000 went yesterday for $1,530.

I really want an Azureglo but I need the neck pickup (my favorite sound is the neck toaster at ½").

I thought these were horrible the first time I saw one but the more I see them , the more I want one. I've just sold a faker that I made to look like one and did a JR conversion to make it a 5 string. I missed this one last night. So now I am on the look out for one. Problem is that not all ebayers ship to the UK and the chances of me finding one here is about as much as er, you get the idea.

At the bottom of the list (see Andysguitars) there's an Ibanez 4001 copy with 'railroad track binding'! HAHA!
