Lord knows my lady's always looking for good schemes...

Oh, it's not too far. Hop across the Strait, a few days across Canada,... wait, nevermind.
What do you mean the Bass is too loud???

Looks like a beauty.
I know how you feel regarding the wait. It was 3 months from the time I saw my first until it was paid for. I didn't even go in to play it, & it was here in the same town! I just knew it would have been more difficult if I'd picked it up & held it.
Well, that was 20 years ago now & I've got 3.
The first one is always treasured a little more.

Lovely, Sheena.... Ouch, you've got an awfully long wait ahead for your first Ric, but at least you know it is waiting for you! Image Congrats again!

Congratulations, Sheena!! Looks great - just like mine..... Image

Looks like I'll have to hit the champagne again tonight!

Hopefully time will pass quickly and you'll be in possession of your new baby in no time.

Do you have an amp, BTW, or are they pretty easy to get?

Thank you all, guys and gals...
No, i don't have an amp yet, i've played acoustics all my life... but i have plenty of time to chose an amp & be ready for arrival! Image There's lots of different amps in music stores... when i have some time free from work (dreams, dreams...), i'll go & try to chose the right one...

Size is not important, Sheena. The fact that it is your Rick is very much so!

They are a great looking guitar, aren't they?

It will look fabulous, Sheena. That shot you posted elsewhere of you standing up with the acoustic on stage almost appeared out of proportion. The much smaller 650 will look like it was meant to be. Perfect!! Image

Looks nice Sheena, love the maple neck.

Whats the story as to how you found her and made the deal?

Also, the checkered pants? Should I ask for that story?
I'm just happy to be here.

Gary: that's a long story... my Mom works in California, where RICs are easier to get, and it took me more than a year to convince her that i do need one & will recompense the cost... The deal was made via eBay, of course... about $700 + shipping... here, given you're very lucky, you'll get a 330 for about $1500-$2000...
Checkered pants... well... if you'll check July archives for "Post of picture of YOU playing your RIC" thread in this section, you'll know the story...Image
(for whom it may concern: it's just a joke, i just liked that checkered pants story...Image and i do like checkered pants - i have 2 pairs myself... somewhere...)

Don't them wild and crazy Festrunk brothers, Jorge and Yortuk, wear checkered pants?! Or are they plaid? Image
