Pretty Convincing 360/12 copy on CL

My neighbor actually works for PayPal, and whenever we get to chatting about work he regales me with tales of how they are constantly busting not only big gangs of fraudsters, but small potato guys as well. They very regularly work with law enforcement and consider stamping out fraud in their auctions on of their main priorities at present.

Great for them. I'm sooo glad.
But evidence indicates that they are bandits too, although they are borderline legal about it.

One time paypal was having a hard time getting a payment they received for me, to me. I don't know what the hangup was but before I knew it, they'd returned the money to the sender and I could not recover it. So, I had to eat that. I have a feeling they've done that to many people. Don't get their logic at all. They stink.
This is off the record
Hi, i am the guy that bought this Ric copy...just wanted to say that i understand it is in NO way a Rickenbacker but add that it does play and sound rather well...for me it will work fine for my living room jam sessions.
Learning to deal with the narrow neck and string spacing and THEN i am going to start looking for a real Ric...this copy has made me lust for the real thing already, not thru any fault of this guitar, but because if a copy can be this good then i have to have a real one!
I collect off the wall and homebuilt (non professional luthiers) guitars and will add this to that collection when i am thru having fun with it...
By the way, this copy has a routed solid top and a ply back with the long neck tenon..unusual for a copy guitar. The inlays look to be made of epoxy and gold glitter(?), hard to tell because of the yellowing of the epoxy...and i agree about the headstock shape!
All the best,
Glen
