6500 AND KEEPS ON TICKING

Post by jingle_jangle »

This has been an amazing year. I've found a whole new bunch of friends here, rediscovered a long-dormant collecting and playing passion, and found that I really love restoring and refinishing Rickenbackers for the great guys and gals who I've met on this Forum.

Kudos to Peter for his devotion to all things Rickenbacker, and to everyone else who tolerates and supports me here.

Now I gotta get back to the two basses that are calling!

Ha, Paul! We all love you (deep in our heart) - anybody disagree?! Image
Congratulations!

I generally don't love anyone, as a policy, but I do appreciate the buffing tips.

Paul, if one of the two basses you are working on is mine I'll fall in line with Sheena on the "love" comment. If not, I'll go with "like" and "appreciate".

I can't imagine that I have read all 6501 of your posts but the ones I have read have all either been informative, interesting, funny or a bit of each.

What can I say, Paul. It has been enlightening! Need another Kaufmann? Likely not.

Brian...I never saw it before either, but my years of living and working with the 'gubmint' have honed my acronym-deciphering skills...

No matter how you look at it, it's all FUBAR...
