Well, don't get your wallets out quite yet. This is a long process, at least a couple of years. I'll be happy to autograph copies for anyone when it comes out. Still way to early to say on book length, price, or even contents, but rest assured, if I have it my way, EVERYTHING you want to know about EVERY Rick bass model will be in there.

Great news Paul! I'm also glad there will be time to get a picture of my 4003S/5 "semi-Blackstar", assuming you don't already have a picture of one ...

'Tis a good idea! It's a given that most bass playing forum members will want to buy a copy.

Awesome!

Just make sure you have in depth description and presentation on the 4005. All versions. I can't seem to find a decent book that covers this bass and it's variations.

Paul (an avid birdwatcher) told me a while back that he wants the book to a field guide for Rickenbacker basses. Given that, I would have to think he will cover the details of the feature changes.

Rickenbacker bass book. The next best thing to playing a Ric is reading and looking at pictures of Rics. Congrats. I want my copy autographed as well.
