This is great news Paul! Let me know when the leather bound deluxe edition is available, you know, the one that comes with your choice of one of three different RIC basses, personally hand selected by the author/artist! Image

YES!! The next step! I can't wait to crack open that first autographed, leather-bound coffee table sized RIC bass book and see a plethora of 4005's and Shadows, and ?????

Congrats, Paul! It's tough to get published these days, so here's a big WTG for you from the 'burbs of Motown!

Fantastic!
Can there be a giant section on the slab 4000?
With all the changes including the semi-removable body wings(those huge bolts are funny!)....

I feel like Ms. Edie when the Eggman arrived!

Paul is a pro. For those who don't know, he is the editor of a magazine http://www.finescale.com/fsm/ and he has edited a few books on the subject of scale modeling. He has been around the publishing block a few times.

As you might guess from that, Paul is an expert model builder. I have seen his work and I can tell you he has some amazing skill.

Yep! Hope you're accepting pics. I have lots from over the years. Plenty of my current Squire, several good ones of my dearly departed '69 4001 Burgundyglo, my '69 4001 Mapleglo, loads of 70's units. What a great book too! Long overdue.

A huge achievement Paul, well done. I can't imagine the hours that you must have put in to put the book together. Wishing you every success.

Nice one Paul - I promise to sort my collection photos out for you after the first attempt sent were a bit small!!!! (as I've said here before, it was a definite decision on my part to spend EVERYTHING on Ricks and so the digital camera, PC and knowledge to use 'em are a bit "bargain basement" in this house, but I'll get there...!!1)
