That April 1st, 1985 show up in Ottawa (Canada) was HOT! I love the E.P. and their first full album (Shop It Around, I think). One of the best rock 'n roll shows I've ever seen.
Still talk about it...friend of mine had to work that night...regrets it twenty-one years later.

The most memorable concert I ever saw was AC/DC on the last night of the Royal Perth Show in 1978. I was 15 and we jumped the fence to get in. We waited hours for them to come on and the showgrounds were supposed to close at 10.30 but thousands were waiting to see them so the show had to go on. It was worth the wait, they just blew us away. At the end of the gig Angus was flat on his back still playing as 2 roadies dragged him offstage by the ankles. I get nostalgic just thinking about it.

Holy ****, there are a lot of bands listed here I wish I could have seen. I wish fellow formite Marty Tryon would jump in here. I sold Marty the Shadow I bought from Chris Pappas, and we ended emailing each other quit a bit shooting the breeze. Marty use to be the bass player for Mac Davis, and he told me about a very close encounter with George Harrison. Marty can tell this story much better, but to make a long story short Marty and a buddy of his ended up in a studio in LA for the recording of Bangladesh.

Just because no one understands you doesn't mean you're an artist.
My first concert was Yes Back in '75. Since then I've seen them 8 times along with Genesis, Rush, UK, Asia, Wings, The Stones in '76 with Rod Stewart opening, Jackson Browne, Pink Floyd, The Who, Jethro Tull, ELP, The Police...too many more to remember but one intersting band I saw at the Lawrence Opera House at the university of Kansas was The Tourists back in '80. The lead singer was Annie Lennox and the lead guitarist was Dave Stewart.
