This looks a little odd, two basses shown in the add. The one in the case, the one I believe is for sale, looks not quite right...?

Shouldn't that baby have a 60's pickup surround?

Nice bass though... if only they didn't cut the headstock in front of a mirror...
What do you mean the Bass is too loud???

They are not the same bass IMO. They remind me of pics someone took at a past NAMM show and photoshopped the background out..

Yeah, why is the pickup surround a modern one?

And why is the headstock wrong? Oh wait, they're made that way *on purpose* . . . hehehehe.

That's the way the "S" comes from the factory.

This is supposed to be a recreation of Macca's.
The 70s surround is like his when the pickup
was changed to a high gain.
The ones pictured when the c64S was unveiled showed
a high gain instead of a horsey.

Wonder why they did that....

Okay, now I get it. I thought all of the '60s reissues had the vinty surround. Thanks!
