I'm not sure that this indicates a floodgate being opened, so let's not get our knickers in a twist here...

It would be interesting to hear reviews about the Ric acoustic sound, relative to other axes of the same variety. I always thought of Gibson as a really fat, full sound (especially the super jumbos), Taylor very clean and clear, but thin and sort of wimpy, Martin I don't know much about. Anyway, that would sure be interesting.

I thought the same thing Paul. This one could have been sitting around for a while. Perhaps the acoustic shop is not really ramped up yet.

I would love to order a 730S Fireglo. However, I'm a little hesitant to pull the trigger. What is the timeline from production to delivery if, in fact, they are getting ready to be produced again? Also, who would be the best dealer, on-line or otherwise, to make my purchase? My other Rics are pining for a new little brother. Image

You can't get a Martin for those prices (excluding the 760J)!
Mmmmmm...760J in AFG... Image

Michael, any ordering will have to wait until RIC notifies dealers that they are taking acoustic orders again. I believe there's a backlog to be filled, as well.

This is good news. I will want to add a Rickenbacker acoustic to the collection someday. Good to hear that production is planned.
