Well Melissa even wholesome threads can take unexpected twists and turns. Some dive into the abyss. At least this one did not end up there. LOL.

I've had mid winter blahs for days. Do I need to go out and buy another guitar to get me out of them?

Therapy (guitar) or therapist (you don't need one) - take your pick, Brian. Simple choice, IMO.....

Alternately, take the lovely wife out for a candlelit dinner - therapy for both of you!! Image

Yeah, Aitch is right... guitars always help - or so it is to me... so... let's all look at Melissa's "old new baby" and get warm again... how about it? Image

Right....can't afford therapy, so I play guitar and write songs.... Some of my best songs have come out of feeling awful--gotta get busy recording; I've been waiting on some of my friends, but I suppose I should just go and do my own thing, and they can add their tracks when they're ready. Oh yeah, I've been chained to this desk for days.....but have gotten a little ahead on the business....

.....Of course several days on a warm sunny beach somewhere would probably do me a world of good! Image

Hmmm... that's interesting, i mean, that works for me too, and when i'm absolutely happy, i never write anything... (and forget about the existence of such thing as Internet...Image)
Melissa, i wonder, will you share your recordings with us? Image

I put a couple of rough demos up a few months back, just me and my Ric acoustic recorded on a cheap desktop microphone into a laptop computer....

If I remember correctly, the thread was called "Comstock sound clips--finally" or something like that.... If I can find the thread I'll see if I can post the link.

I promise there will be more and better things after I get Pretty Purple back....

Oh, that thread is long gone.... I remember there used to be a way to search the archives, but I can't even find that any more....

I vote that this thread be retired. I am making the 429th post ? Come on, how out-of-control are we ?

When are we gonna see it?

Out of control? Absolutely....and lovin' it! Image

I think the Curmudge has a few other projects to do before he gets around to the 481....Perhaps that should be a new thread.

I think this one deserves to live on until Pretty Purple is repaired and in my hands again....

I am finishing up most of those. The 481 is already ready to paint, but I have to send Melissa some color chips for her to choose.

You folks are gonna like this color, too. Maybe better than the purple. Purple Grain, Purple Grain...

Paul, I don't think ANYTHING could top the Purpleburst, but I agree that it will be beautiful....
