The V63 has arrived!

Post by teeder »

The FedEx guy just dropped off a brown box the shape of a Rick case!
I can't wait to open it, but it's been in the 20's here, and I don't dare though it's killing me!
For those of you that didn't catch the story, it started about a month ago. I think it was on another V63 thread that I made a comment about wanting to get a Fireglo V to go with my MG. Within a day or so, I got an email from a guy that had been reading the posts here. He had a FG V63 for sale that he had bought in Japan a few years ago, and decided to sell it. It's an April '92, and should be very close to my May '93. So I wanted it badly! Now after weeks of scraping up enough dough, and working out the shipping box dilema, it's finally here! Just wish I could look at it! Image

Very nice, Kevin.

Can you give me an estimate of about how much it weighs?

You know, I've never had V63 lust, but after playing a CS, I am now starting to really look at them.

Geez, you guys are a real help!Image

Tomg, I'll try to weigh it tonight. My MG is heavier than my Jazz Bass, but that thing is a feather.

Dave, Wow it got up to 27 already?Image

Steve, My MG has been so nice for gigging. What a killer tone cutting through with my Ampeg! I've fallen in love with the horseshoe!.
