Rickenbacker ring tones

Post by jwargowski »

I just purchased a new cell phone, and while I was looking to download some ringtones (I was actually looking for an actual phone type ring) I stumbled upon a "British Invasion" section, and low and behold while previewing the tones, there is a cartoonish image of a Beatle esque figure playing a MG 360. Kinda cool ... but I wonder if Ric approved this? It's very obviously a Ric - can't be mistaken for anything else. Too bad the ringtones don't sound anything like a Ric ... or any guitar for that matter!

Jim, if you ever have occasion to call RIC headquarters, you'll find that the first thing you hear when their automated phone system picks up is the "Hard Day's Night" opening chord.... It's kinda cool, and very appropriate....

Don't know where I found this one, but I've had it for a LONG time!
