I agree...how could play a one-pickup bass with a capacitor which reduce the power...

The 4000 has no treble-pass capacitor in line with its single pickup.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

I've been checking ebay on this one to see where the price ends up, but as of yesterday the seller ended the auction early............I guess someone made him a hot offer! I hope someone from here got it.
