Nice work.

I guess you won't be needing that LK now...

Wow! That looks really great, and I'm not normally a big fan of 4004s. I want one!

Thanks guys....I can't wait for it to get home so I can see Paul's best work yet (strictly my biased opinion, of course) up close and play it again.

It's pretty safe to say that this does not replace the LK Dave, sorry!

Jeff, I already have a Ci but thanks for the offer!

Brian ... now you need a few black screws to finish the project ...

let's see there was a shadow, and a blackstar ... we need a name for this one ... Darth Vader ... naaa too scifi ...

how about the 4004 stealth bass?
or black widow?
blackout?

My black strings are in route.....actually they should have been here already so I'll have to check UPS tracking.

I actually like the chrome screws on the p/u's for contrast but I'll get black straplocks for sure.

I emailed my wife the pics and she replied that it is the Buick Grand National of Rics. I don't name my basses but I thought that GN was a good reference. Image

....an '87 Buick GNX.....

I love the Grand National too, the ultimate "sleeper" car.
