WOW!

Post by tony_carey »

I have been lucky enough to play & own literaly dozens of Rickenbacker gtrs & basses, but today I collected from Mike Smith, probably the very best looking Ric that I have ever seen. A 1984 360WB-6FG, complete with Grovers, X bracing & an extra thick top. One of the most beautiful & strangest FG's I have ever seen, this was love at first sight. It came with toasters & I assume that these are original to the gtr. I have yet to give it a good thrash through the Marshall, but I have very high hopes for this gtr. The flash pics don't do it justice in any way & I will post some more when I have better.

I also collected a 370-6BG...another total stunner. Yet again, Mike has come up with a couple of gems & I can't thank him enough.

BTW, I'm decorating!!!

You are planning to bring that beauty to the confluence, right, Tony?

Will that provide some inspiration for your color scheme?

Glad you all like it. I think it's really special & it will be at the confluence, strutting its stuff with the carnivores, along with my 370BG. I don't think I've ever been so chuffed with a couple of gtrs...I love them!
Here are a couple of Mikes pics....

BTW, I heard from Gary Glenn, the WB's previous owner today. Great to hear from you Gary & thanks for the wonderful guitar....good luck with the Gretsch rebuild!
