SO I got my 2pc pickguards back from Tony and much to my dismay, they didn't fit...each were just a tad too big. So I emailed and asked him what would be the best way to sand them down to get the 2 sections to fit together. He told me a way then said I'd be better off sending my originals back to him so he can recut to them my exacts dimensions. I am totally impressed with his service. Hopefully in another week or so I can finally have my 4003 like I want it...black on black with the JG white binding.

How many people have converted their JG to all black? I did one of mine in the 80's when I saw the blackstar? It has a nice look.

yes! now it will sort of match my 79 4001 which came black on black with the tiny pinstripe.

JetGlow is my least favorite RIC finish, but I must admit when you swap the TRC, and P/G for black, AWESOME!!!
Buy it before someone else does.
