Yeah. I have that album on vinyl. Hulk Hogan's Theme is in fact 'Ravishing' on Bonnie Tyler's 1986 album 'Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire', right?
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Couldn't imagine him on something like a Ducati...

Andrew you live in Pinellas county? I've been to his home on the Intracoastal. Back in 97 The company I worked for in Clearwater called Boatworks just off US 19 serviced his Wellcraft, nice boat has airbrushed image of Hogan grasping a lightning bolt. I had to run his snap in center carpet that the mechanics left at the shop to his house in Bellair He was not home but his dog did sniff my butt

Hey, was that photo taken at the "Rusty Nail" on Groesbeck in Clinton Township. Use to play there all the time. Looks like all the regulars there.

Ah Brian, was that dog a boy of girl? I laughed myself out of my chair, then I got worried.

Hi Brian, when were you a victim, I mean patron of the old Nail?

I was in a band called Family Portrait for about a hundred years. We just about lived at the Nail from 73 to 82. Five piece group, I was the good looking guy flying an old white 4001 through an Acoustic 370/301.

Wait a minute. I recall a Brian who use to dress up as a big disco duck. He would lead the dancers out into the parking lot, with him at the front of the line in a big yellow duck outfit.(Disco Era)

Was that you? It would explain the dog thing!

Although I did destroy some brain cells there between say 1979 thru 83, not enough to do the duck thing. The very last time I was there I ran into an old flame and had a grand old time. We left in her Pinto with me driving.. I don't know how I made it down Groesbeck to 10 mile then to Ryan without getting stopped. Aww youthful stupidity. I would never attempt a stunt like that today. I must have seen your band just can't remember much...

Small world, if you do not remember the band, that was probably us.

I think I remember a nice looking gal with a Pinto. She was with a real scary looking guy!

Can't believe you left 10 & Ryan for Florida. I worked the fire hall on Ryan, south of 10. Good training ground for a paramedic.
