4004L "None More Black" Project is Home!

Post by incubus2432 »

I started a new thread since the original drifted on to other things.....

I received my Laredo project back from Paul today. Fortunately, for me, the weather here is quite nice with temps in the low 50's. I double checked the case temperature (inside) and it was also in the 50's so no need to wait. It looks just how I wanted it to. The fretboard blends perfectly with the body and looks like a factory job.......outstanding work.

I had some minor concerns over playability changing but it feels as good as it did when I sent it off. I'll tweak the setup tonight and run it through it's paces at practice tomorrow but it is pretty safe to say that it is a keeper!

Thanks to Paul for the great work, price and communication. Thanks also to Ted who provided me with info and pics of his Blackstar to pass on to illustrate what I wanted done.

Wow. Looks amazing. It looks classy rather than goth-y. Nicely done.
