Yeah, I saw that. Very surprised that he would let it go, but I've let go of a few over the years, too, that I thought I never would. Hope he gets a good price for it.

Cripes....... That really should have been a keeper even if it wasn't his favorite. As you said Steve, let's hope he gets top dollar for it.

Good luck Ken.

I'm certain he will. He's asking 12K for it.
I was going to procure from him but backed out since for what he's asking, I can get the mint condition one at Gary's. Even if it doesn't have an f-hole.

I'm looking for a player, not a display piece.

Doesn't Mike Parks still have one for 8K?

Blimey, he didn't keep that long after all the trouble he went to to get it.
enough, already.

John,

Mike still has that one and it's in very good condition. The only problem are the latches on the case. They seem to be broken. I have photos he sent me and I must say, the bass does look nice for the condition. The one from Garys is truly a looker and it's has the original bridge cover on it.

Edgar-
If a player is what you want, go with Mikes.
I mean, you don't play the case and an extra 4K
for working latches(as well as some other stuff)
seems a bit much....

Ken must have his eyes on something really special to let that one go.

Just wondering . . . hopefully this isn't like a "gag rule" topic . . . why is Ken not posting here anymore? Was he banned or something after that whole "Disappointed with Ric" fiasco?

I hope he comes back. He has been nothing but a stand-up guy to me.

His exile is self-imposed. He says he is taking some time to chill and reflect. When I asked if he would return any time soon, he was non-commital.
