Another oddity, one photo shows the bridge pup cover, the other she is gone, hmm......
I'm just happy to be here.

Well, he is offering viewings (with notice). I was in Bristol earlier this week, would have maybe tried to have a look if I'd known about it. I can't promise for definite, but if anyone here is really interested, I might be able to get down there again in the early part of next week & at least verify that it exists.

Strange that the auction has so many stolen bits though...

He probably just wanted better pics than the ones he had. Not that mine are particularly good or anything.

Personally, I'd say that using pictures of an item other than the one actually up for sale is misrepresentation, unless the seller posts a disclaimer saying that the pics are a general rendering, like the car ads that say "US model shown", etc.
Besides, many pics are copyrighted.
Lack of good pics is no reason to deliberately mislead potential buyers.

The outdoor shot was definitely stolen from Mike Parks. Scroll down to the Tux on this page...

It never ceases to amaze me how blatant such plagiarists can be. It's as if there is no respect for copyright laws in modern society.

No problem Dave (4080/12s welcome though!). I'm just trying to schedule something work-related down there next week. I'll get back to you if I can.

That's a nice Tux he has there. Assuming that this time it's the actual bass.
