I had no choice
Well, i finally had to remove all the bridge intonation screws in order to get the piece to fit squarely in the slot. No matter what i tried, i could'nt get the bridge to sit straight.
(The screw heads stick out too far)
I even tried the "Black screws" i got here from (i'm sorry, i can't remember who gave them to me)
a board member. Now that the screws are gone, the bridge sits perfectly and i can raise and lower the bridge with no problems.
I can't wait to see the new Ric bridge. I may end up with a hipshot real soon.
Ok my rant is over.
BTW, i kept the original Ric strings (since 98) and boiled them a while back. Today i reinstalled them and they sound like new..

No bridge issues there...
