125? The best info we ever had here was that there were 38 of them made. Apparently that is wrong. Of course, if there are 125 why have they never shown up? 50 Shadows and we see 10 per year on Ebay. 125 Rednecks and one shows up in the last 4 years. Hmmm.

Do you think 125 includes all Redneck, Tuxedo, and Blackstars? No way 125 Rednecks.

"That's a lot of dough for such an ugly bass," he said innocently.
Listen to that sustain!

I dont think anyone is going to crack the reserve unless they bid $6500.

for that kind of money he should include a 60s 4001 ... I'd rather have one with the triangle inlays myself ...

I'd rather have a guitar neck attached for that price!

That is just far too much money. The production number on the cert does sit right with me (though the cert does look legit). There were just as many Tuxedos made and we have seen several in the last few years and of the 200 Blackstars we have seen maybe 6 or 7. Why are they so rarely spotted?

Of the "Holy Trinity", i think the Blackstar & the Tuxedo look a helluva lot better than a redneck.
