It's D of course (Crosby, but not McGuinn uses a drop d tuning here) then of course G walk down to E major. Then a series of C walk downs to A major. The part that is "Why so worry, sisters wie, say the silver bells and why" is D- Bm/D- G-E (A hint here: keep an F# on the high E during that whole "Silver bells and wie" part, even during the G & E chords it sounds real nice) The solo, double time banjo roll of course (My all time favourite solo-you can have Hendrix) is fifth fret D position (Chording only the top 3, or in this case 6 strings with the D string droning) alternating the high 5th to a 6th and back again, walks to open G6 or Em7 sort of! (Top 4 (8) strings open), then the same thing at the 12th fret, then G diminished at the second fret, then we're back to the verse. The end of the song is G walk to E major, then G G/F# to A major (The only time the song does this) then D. The end. Thanks! Christian
