It is perfectly saveable if the price stays low.

"Howie Pyro was with Sid Vicious the night he died, He also helped scatter Sid's ash's on Nancy's grave with Sid's mom (Beverly Richie) If you don't think any of this is true, Just read the book (Please Kill Me)"

Drives me crazy when people tack on stuff like that to create fake buzz about the instrument.

I dont know. That one is pretty far gone. Neck seperating from the body, Head cracked, holes everywhere, and that gawd awful square on the back. I'm not sure, but I dont think RIC is gonna trade that TRC in either. I'd say it was for someone with too much money and too much time on their hands.

"And for all you punk rock history buffs, Howie Pyro was with Sid Vicious the night he died, He also helped scatter Sid's ash's on Nancy's grave with Sid's mom"

Somebody should put that bass out of it's misery by burning it & scattering IT'S ashes somewhere.

Jeez...

That is not a crack in the headstock. The lamination is just separating - easy to fix. It would not be a 10 minute job or but that bass could be saved. The lower body wing could be repaired or replaced.

Ted, are the magician that fixed that basket case 4004 Ci?

If so, I'll take your work for it. But this bass looks to be pretty much abused. Image

Yes, that dead 4004C was mine. That one was actually a fairly easy repair. I know of a guy who can seamlessly repair splintered wood by carefully gluing and sanding. HE is a magician.

A lot of wood had to come out for that mess!
Plus five minus five!
