Here's a bunch of photos I took today of the newbies. First, the Fireglo 2060, a November 1992 production, bought from Richard Stratton in Florida. This one was in the worst shape of the three new ones. Going to take some cleaning and polishing. Note the dirty fretboard. Treble pickup has lost a bit of paint from the logo. Neck and fretboard are just like the Cheyenne I, only a bolt-on. Front of headstock is glossy clear, but neck and fretboard are just oil finished:

Here's the Fireglo V63, a January 1997 production. Near mint, but some of the varnish has popped off the edges of the frets on the bottom side (no biggie, a lot are like that). Bought from Mitch Borofsky of Brooklyn, N.Y. Strings might be "ground wound" (half round)?

And here is the bargain: $525 (including shipping) for a near mint-finish April 2003 Jetglo. Original owner put Barts in it, wired direct to the outlet, bypassing the control panel. Sale included the original pickups. Got a little work to do on this, but it's a beauty. Already replaced the TRC with the white-outlined black/chrome from my FG Laredo, and have ordered a black pickguard and black treble p/u surround from Pickguardian. More photos when done.

And for those who haven't seen it, this is my 2004 Monte with vintage gold signature edition pickguard and likewise painted TRC, with Tony's (Pickguardian, of course) chrome/clear treble p/u surround, vintage knobs, and the new Hipshot bridge.
All of these will be available for viewing and fondling at the Midwest Confluence in Milwaukee in two months!

I get so frustrated with this picture posting thing....I must have 5 different photo programs and I can't figure ANY of 'em out.....oh, it's easy to "resize" the dimensions, but every stinkin' time I get the "your photo is bigger than 36K" thing....so I just give up....is there some "GREAT PHOTO RESIZING SECRET" that is only privy to certain select people??????
Sorry for the rant and sorry for the thread hijack, but I KNOW I'm not the only one beating my head against the wall over this....
