Brought the boys out to play twice this week, which is rare, I haven't gigged as a bassist in a long time.

Last night Kevin Teed and the guitarist in his band, Mark, came out to see Rare Blend in Erie, Pa. He brought along his V63 for me to check out. The hand off:

That is Kevin on the left and Mark to my right.

Checking it out:

Very nice bass! I didn't try out the Hipshot X-Tender key he has on it! Image

Thanks for coming out to see us Kevin!

Thanks! I really enjoyed the music and meeting you Jeff.

I see there's no pictures of me getting tackled while running for the door with the 4005! Image
What an unbelievable neck! RIC should be making them like that now!

Maybe next time you can have some drop-D songs worked in. Image

Brian,

I just wonder if he'll drive all the way back out for my gig Thursday night (@ Sherlock's on State St Erie, PA.)!Image
Of course I'll have to take a vacation day Friday!
Did I mention how nice the neck was on that 4005?

John,

That C64 looks great!
