Yes forgot about Ivy League I mentioned The Fortunes but did not mention about Geoff Turton as to me it's a bit like saying The Hollies have two original members and one original from Mud.

Yes, but The Fortunes now include 2 Rocking Berry songs. I doubt The Hollies include any Mud songs!

Actually Tim it is my understanding that they do at least one Mud song.

Searchers amongst my teenage favourite music. Still fond of them, but earnestly a little puzzled they are considered THIS big! But I'm very excited about this forum, and will love to read it regularly, and also contribute!

To be pedantic Roy, was Spencer actually on First Class's hit "Beach Baby"? I thought it was one of John Carter's 'studio' groups.

As far as I know Tim, no he was not, it is my understanding a band was formed due to success of record, one album was made and he I believe may have played on that certainly no vocals
