A decent project?

Post by henry5 »

73 4001 on UK ebay, item=7393720941

Is this all legit? Only I was thinking it might be nice refinished in blue, with a toaster and maybe some full widths....(only now everyone has seen it, LOL!!!)

Well maybe that could be arranged too.....although I think I could manage to live without it on an azure (even if it was be a refin). One thing I would need to add would be full width MOPs though.... still, depends how much it goes for whether it's worth it. My itch for an early azure (even a refin) is really starting to eat at me...

Just out of interest, anybody have or know of anywhere where I could get hold of some of the crushed MOP inlay material?

There's a thread about that in the Vibrola section.
FYI- there's a 74 Azurglo on the bay.
A lil spendy now, but in a year or two you might not
feel too bad...

Thanks John! I'll check it out..I'd prefer to try and get the headless 72 we're discussing in the other thread, but this is a possible option. I noticed another couple of azures on the bay; seems like clearout time!
