I just received my new 2005 Montezuma Brown Model 650C today and it was interesting to compare the color to my 1976 Walnut Model 480. I had not seen these two colors side-by-side before. The Montezuma Brown is nearly black on the edges. It is a striking guitar with the chrome pickguard, maple fretboard, and the black TRC with the chrome-painted name. And as a side note, this guitar rocks. It has a great hard rock/metal tone through my Marshall. I finally have a Ric that sounds good when I play Iron Maiden or Krokus!
Wonderful comparison, Bob. Thanks very much for that. I have a 330/6 MB waiting for me in the States that I haven't laid eyes on yet, so pics of anything in Montezuma Brown are most welcome.
Aitch, your MB is in good hands. It will be photographed next to my 1997 just as soon as I get a bit of free daylight time. It is a lovely guitar. the finish is near perfect and the wood of the fretboard is the nicest I've seen in awhile. You're gonna love it.
