At least he lowered the price. It is still too high but he seems to be learning.

I threw in a bid. It's very tempting as I just got good news from my acct regarding taxes, but 5K seems a tad high for something that's rare, but I'm not even sure what it sounds like...

Now that the reserve has been hit, and it's lower than I thought, I'm more tempted... Hard to place a value on something that never comes up for sale..

To me it all depends what a Redneck means to the Rickenbacker universe. I love the look, but I don't know all the history.

In terms of rarity, it appears to be MUCH harder to find than a Shadow or a Tux, and even a Blackstar, but it can't possibly have the sound versatility combined with the scarcity of the 4002.

I'm glad I'm no longer interested in 4003's or this one would drive me to the poor house!

Dave... PLEASE!!!!! give me a break...

I hate to say it, Not sure I even wanted it. Really I just wanted to see it at the next confluence as I've never seen one before.

What surprised me was the guy who hit thev reserve didn't have much left after that.

I probably won't have it long. First I'll sell it to Chris Pappas, then he'll sell it to Ken, who'll put it back up and make a profit....
