Casters, water, and low action

Actually yes. The stage is quiet and since we have 4 monitor sends, each of us can have a personal mix. Seems like we have only been using two mixes, though. The downside is when people come up to ask for a request or to make an announcement we can't hear them without removing the ear plugs. BTW, we got the custom ear plugs from an internet site and they were actually much cheaper than I expected. I believe they cost around $114.00 delivered, and they just fit over our E2s. They really are comfortable and I can wear them all night without pain or discomfort. Much better than the stock E2s. They make them to retrofit many brands of ear monitors. Thanks John! I don't play out right now (focusing on studio stuff) but I can think of alot of people who should look into that kind of setup.

I can see the advantages of that for sure!!!

I guess I am old fashoned... I like an amp to play with on stage, inferior or not. I guess I like to show off my toys.

Hi gang, I have often thought about putting casters on my 410 cab...but I made a dolly board, same size as the bottom of my cab...but with four caters...like a really wide skateboard....it has been a real back saver for the last two years.

When we mix full ears rigs, we almost always setup ambience/audience mics. 2 mics, pointing toward the audience area, and mixed into the ears, just enough to add a more natural sound to the ears mix overall. Also added benefit of hearing the punters heckel you lol...

Old Ampegs had the same set up John, including early SVT's. I have a B-15 dolly here.
