Nothing like "HALF" a Rickenbacker!

Kevin, that's exactly why I wanted it. Unfortunately I had to factor shipping to the UK and (ludicrous) duty into the equation, and my pockets are not as deep as I'd like at the moment, otherwise I'd have bid higher too. But I'm glad its gone to a good home, and John will be able to restore it beautifully I'm sure.

OK! I'm up.....
Yep I'm going to make a new neck thru.
Single piece w/Walnut (or Koa) wings.
Haven't thought about headstock shape but I'm leaning towards
'69 again....
As for price-
Way I see it: A pitted and peeling TP sold a few months back for
$499.
Treble PU: $150
Neck PU:$100
TRC: $100
Jack Plate: $50
Body wings w/CB :$$$?
Fun of building a new neck: priceless
BB gun mania knows no bounds....
Also-
This should go in the Rickenfield charter:
If broken Ricks touch ebay, such broken Ricks shall become property of the village idiot.
And since he amn't here......
