That's really strange. I have been using them for about five years now and have never had that happen to me. Have you contacted D'Addario about this?

Hi Charly,

I sent email about the JetGlo. Let me know what you're thinking about it.

Thanks,

my wife was in a minor car accident so I haven't caught up with email yet. Greg was first so we'll see if we can make a deal. Greg, I'm tired now so I'll shoot you an email in the am.

Thanks and sorry Phil. I hope you find one soon. Did you see the 4003BB for sale in the for sale area? Look for "Blue Boy Duo" there.

It's a 4004BB right? Not a 4003?
Anyway I'm sure I'll find one too, thanks Image

He says 4003BB in the thread. I couldn't get to the picture link that he was talking about.

You know, it's interesting, that sound I don't like when I use the neck pickup, or play ahead of the bridge on the 4-2-5? I played it for my old drummer last night and he liked that sound. He was amazed at the amount of different tones I can get from just the bass itself!

Philip, our own Joey has one on Ebay right now if you're interested in a 4003 BB.

I got my new bass yesterday (Charly's old one). Awesome sound, and so much easier to play than my old bass, which seems so much "bulkier" that this 4003! I was addicted to the UPS tracking site until it came. It was a long trip, coast-to-coast from LA to Cape Cod.

Thanks Charly!
