Next C-Series instrument.....

Post by jwilli »

What would you like it to be?
Me? A Alder 1958 365 AG. Long soundhole. Two knob/two switch.
Just like my Alder '58 365 AG with long sound hole :-).

I guess I haven't really thought about it. I guess I want to see the rest of my order be delivered before I start another wish list.

It's a very good question.

Ok... I thought about it. What about a McGuinn 370C64 or a 4000C58 or a 4005V60 whatever. Maybe a 4001C68. Many of the bassists have been asking for a 4001V68, so why not

Those would be starters for me. What do you guys think?

The 4005 would be 4005C65. I like the idea of the 4000C58. Image But with a more modern thin neck.

I vote for a mid-late 60's 4001 reissue. Image

I don't think there's anything else for the C series to link them to the Beatles. The one's that are available now are the most popular. George did use a regular 360/12 for the '66 tour for a few tunes, then seeing him with the Epi Casino. I'd like to see a vintage re-issue of the Banjoline.... I never seen or heard one of these, it would certainly grab my curiosity.

I'd love to see a 1993 reissue in AFG.

A C Capri would be very sweet.

I could also dig a 360F/ 370F in the original style. Oooooh Yeahhhhh!!!
