I realize Paul is only baiting us, but who is Larry King's wife and how did she achieve bimbo-dom? And what in the name of Gary Muledeer and all that's holy did garage doors ever do to become entangled with corporal punishment? And the blind guy beating up the seeing eye dog - please tell me that was made up (possibly by the Python gang).
Most importantly, and to get back on topic, I wonder how Heather feels about Paul using Linda's last days to plug his political position. It seems, the approach not the political position, to be tacky. I have no qualms with him espousing whatever political opinion he finds appropriate, but that just seemed ... unseemly.
BTW - and since Dane is reading the topic - whatever happened to the Vietnam era cover band that Dane was putting together?
Enquiring minds and all that ...

Hey, Harley...still workin' on organizing the band...as soon as the platoon's at full strength, we'll be deploying into the field. I acquired a few more of the old man's photos from '64 while at my sister's for my birthday last week. She's compiling material for her fourth book, which will deal with morale during wartime. Here are just a few: Col. 'Corncob' Hughes, the C.O., with his trademark and customized rig:
Good ol' Bob McNamara and his pal Westie at the medal ceremony following the 2/7/65 attack on Pleiku...dad's second from the left, at 'parade rest':
Some of the souveniers Bob brought from D.C...a total of 166 Purple Hearts were given out. The old man also got the Bronze Star with 'V' device for hauling wounded after being hit himself. Of the eight KIA's, four were from his platoon...19-year-old kids...
Here's one I'm really glad to have...dad in the NCO club with a visiting VIP, Raymond Burr...
It all seems like a million years ago now...

I didn't get where I am today by being on time...
