Well, Sheena...Britain is where the British people live...the 'United' Kingdom consists of some of their 'takings'...
It's sorta like the way Afghanistan used to be Russian, and now it's American! Oh well, it keeps the mapmakers and flag factories in business...

Roy, I didn't vote for that little worm in the White House, it's good to see his own Congress going against him lately. He's a lame duck and they're trying to save their own asses. They're all pigs.

There's a new campaign to get things straightened out in the USA. It's called ITMFA. Anybody who can't guess what the acronym stands for, can write me offlist. The first and last letters are "Impeach" and "Already". The second is "The".

Okay...I apologize yet again for letting my mind wander away from potentiometers and into matters less consequential...
I remember lots of people in the sixties didn't want to talk politics, either...yet another aspect our modern era shares with that 'happier time'...

I agree in that I don't want to get political and I did not vote for Blair either Ronn in fact 60% of the British people didn't. Only reason I commented was the thread seemed to be going that way. Musically I think in the sixties there were loads of songs reflecting viewpoints today I can't immediately think of any except perhaps rap or should that be spelt with a c.
