Looks good to me.

I don't know if Mr. Hall would be happy with all the lifted graphics however.

Seems a shame on the '06 jetglos to paint over the walnut wings after waiting so long for something cool and vintage!

Wes, when I get my BB FL, I will have Paul remove the paint to expose the wings.

What is a fair price for this bass? It's from '80.

Oooh AG. If it's in very nice, original condition I've seen them go up to $1500+. I'd never pay that for a 4001, even in AG which is one of my favourite finishes. Maybe $1100-1200 is reasonable. And 1980 4001 necks are nice, too.

That is a good question Philip. The same question came up a few weeks ago. I said that I thought $1200 would be about right and my mailbox immediately filled with offers to buy mine for that price. I stand by that number but it could go for more.

It's not a common finish. You fellows seem to like it a lot, it's not really my fave, but looks splendid with gold guards!
If it's in good condition, $1200 is quite reasonable.

Hmmzz alright. Thanks for the input guys. It will be for sale tomorrow at a vintage guitar show. Which things should I check before I decide to buy it? How can I see if there is something wrong with the trussrods/neck?
Thanks!
