Next C-Series instrument.....

How about a 360/12V66 (like Georges') and 370/12V66 (like Rogers') - with 6 string options as a C series limited release. The same as the ones released in Japan in 2003.
They're Beautiful - and I bet they sound Fantastic!

I'll go along with J.W. on the two 12-strings! George's was actually a '65, but I'd settle for the '66 specs. I'd love a 1962 version of the 425, and a 325/12 closer to Lennon's '64 model!

Any instrument with the crushed inlays will never be a C series because RIC can not get the inlays correct since the material used is now protected by the environmentalists in Japan.

As far as C series goes I would like to see the Capri model made without the Kaufman Tail piece.

Don, I don't think the "C" Series is necessarily about Beatle guitars. I believe John Hall stated that somewhere here on the Forum. But if you want Beatle guitars you still could release John's 12 string and aside from George's 2nd 12 string they could release his 425 in the original Fireglo and Jetglo.

Maybe Bob, but I would think that most of us thought the 325V64 was close enough as well. I have the 350V63/12. That suits me better.

Not really Bob, if you examine Lennon's 325/12 the headstock is different, especially the way the truss rod cover is cut. Plus if these were made like the new 325C64 versions, I'm sure the weight, dimensions, etc., would be be vastly different.

The 99 model 325/12's came close, but to do one to C-Series criteria would be cool for sure. I liked my 99...gone but not forgotten.

Yeah, but I LIKE V Series guitars. I know they are not DNA copies of Beatle guitars but they are close enough for me (except maybe the v59) and they have a charm all their own, especially the '80s models. Do you remember how juiced you were the first time you saw a V? The Cs are great but it wasn't the same kind of thrill. At least to me.

Speaking of V Series. When did RIC change the headstock design for the 360/12 V64. In the "I Love 12 String Rickenbacker" book. There is pictured a 89, 94, and 99 all with slightly different head shapes. The 89 model's headstock is closer to sixties specs. 94 model's is a little bit more slender, but with the slight up and out curve on the high E to G side. 99 model has the paddle style, slightly fatter with the up and out curve. Just curious to know when they changed the design. I like the older style.

I know its a matter of taste, but I have never liked the newer version headstock. The vintage headstocks (i.e.,60s, even with the slight variations), seems to complement the the overall style; sleek, slim but beautifully shaped. For me, its my favorite headstock shape of all-time.

Paul just delivered my finished '69 365OS and it has a headstock to-die-for!!

625c63 in 6 and 12. 360F, 460
